A customer's own corner of your store

A customer account is the part of your store a returning customer signs in to: their orders, addresses and details in one place.

It's always optional: guests check out without one, and an account is offered after the order, never before.

What a customer account holds

  • Orders and reorders

Every past order, with its tracking and a one-tap reorder.

  • Saved addresses

Home, work and the addresses they send gifts to.

  • Returns they can start

A customer picks the item and the reason, and the request reaches you.

  • A wishlist

Products saved for later, waiting when they sign in again.

  • Saved cards, kept by your provider

    Roadmap

Your payment provider keeps the card, and the account only shows its last four digits.

  • Subscriptions to manage

    Roadmap

Pause, skip or cancel a subscription from their own account.

  • Their own details

Customers see and change their own details, and nobody else's.

  • Their data, on request

From their privacy page, customers see what you keep about them and ask for it to be deleted.

  • Guests still welcome

    Roadmap

Anyone can pay without an account, and one is offered once the order is placed.

Questions about customer accounts

What is guest checkout?
Paying without an account: the customer gives an email and an address, and that's all. An account is offered after the order. Checkout doesn't take orders yet.
What does a customer see in their account?
Their orders with tracking, saved addresses, returns, a wishlist and a one-tap reorder. Shoppers can't sign in yet.
Can a customer change the address on an order already placed?
They ask from their account, and you, or Ally with your OK, update the open orders. Shoppers can't sign in yet.
Can customers delete their account?
Yes, from their own account page. Records the law says you must keep, such as invoices, stay. Shoppers can't sign in yet.
What does it cost?
Customer accounts come with every plan, and plans start at $39 a month.
