What an integration is
An integration connects your store to a service you already use, through your own account with it: a payment provider, a carrier, a marketplace or an ad platform.
Your store sends it the order, and reads back what happened: a payment taken, a label printed, a parcel delivered.
Every provider, by area
Each area's status comes from our register. A name is a provider your store connects to on your own account, and none is a partner of FaStart.

How a provider becomes a connection.
Five steps before any provider is called live on this site.
- 01
An account
The merchant opens the provider account and approves the access it needs.
- 02
Safe keys
Keys are stored safely, limited to what they need, and can be replaced.
- 03
Working code
The connection really talks to the provider, and handles it when something fails.
- 04
Tested first
Payments, labels and updates are checked in the provider's test system before any real order.
- 05
A way back
Before it goes live, it is watched and can be switched off safely.
