Pre-orders
RoadmapStart selling before the stock lands
Pre-orders is a roadmap feature for gathering demand on products that are still on the way. Customers reserve what's coming with an expected date, and you make the stock call from real interest. It is not live today.

Pre-orders is not live today; it is a roadmap feature we're exploring. Its goal is to let you gather demand before stock lands: customers reserve a product that's still on the way with an expected availability date, so you can decide on production or reordering from real interest. Reserving with a deposit, per-product pre-order limits, and automatic conversion to a normal order when stock arrives are the pieces we're designing. Today, the 'continue selling when out of stock' behavior is configurable on the Inventory side; the pre-order flow itself has not shipped yet.
The planned pieces of pre-orders
All on the roadmap. We'll mark them honestly as they land; we won't present something as available before it is.
Sell before stock arrives
We plan to open products that are still on the way for sale before they reach the warehouse; the buyer clearly sees it is a pre-order.
Expected availability date
We aim to show the buyer the expected date, so it is clear from the start when the product arrives.
Deposit or partial payment
Taking a deposit or partial payment instead of the full amount on a pre-order is one of the pieces we're designing.
Automatic conversion to an order
When stock lands, we plan for pre-orders to turn into normal orders without manual work and enter the fulfillment flow.
Per-product pre-order limits
We're considering letting you cap how many pre-orders each product can take, so you don't commit to demand you can't fulfill.
Demand can arrive before the stock does.
Pre-orders is the idea of catching that demand before it slips away. It is not live yet, but it is on the roadmap.
Frequently asked questions
Is pre-orders available today?
No. Pre-orders is not live right now; it is a roadmap feature we're working on. This page honestly describes the approach we're designing, and it is not a promise of access or a date.
Is this the same as 'continue selling when out of stock'?
No. Continuing to sell when stock hits zero is configurable on the Inventory side today. Pre-orders is a separate flow that aims to reserve an incoming product with an expected date, a deposit, and automatic conversion, and it is not live yet.
Will there be a deposit or partial payment?
A deposit or partial payment is one of the pieces we're considering. Payment is live today at checkout with iyzico; the pre-order-specific deposit flow is on the roadmap, and we'll say so plainly when it's ready.
What happens to pre-orders when stock arrives?
Our plan is for pre-orders to convert into normal orders automatically when stock arrives and enter the fulfillment flow. This behavior is still in design, and it does not run in your store today.
How do I find out when it's coming?
We're not giving a firm date, because we won't make a promise we can't keep. Get started and you'll be among the first to know when pre-orders ships, when and if it's ready.
