Inventory & Stock
LiveStock in one place. Always true.
On-hand counts sit in the dashboard per product and variant, drop on their own as orders come in, and show the same number as your storefront. Stock lives in one source of truth tied to orders and the store, not in a spreadsheet.
Per variant
Every variant carries its own stock.
Drops with orders
Stock drops on its own as orders come in.
One source
Storefront and dashboard read one number.
One dashboard
Inventory lives in the dashboard, not a spreadsheet.
FaStart's inventory is live. You manage on-hand stock per product and variant from the dashboard; stock decrements automatically as orders come in, low and out-of-stock items are flagged, and manual adjustments are written to the product record. Storefront and dashboard share the same count. Multi-location warehousing and demand forecasting are on the roadmap.
Tied to orders
LiveBecause stock is tied to orders, it stays true.
Orders arrive here and on-hand drops automatically. The same number shows on the storefront, and manual edits are written to the product record. Stock doesn't sit in a separate spreadsheet; it lives where the work happens, in one source of truth.

Drops with every order
The moment an order is placed, on-hand updates instantly, no manual counting.

The stock a customer sees and the stock you see come from the same source.
Manual edits hit the record
Increase or reduce stock by hand and the change stays on the product record.
Inventory capabilities live today
Stock per product and variant
Every product and every variant carries its own on-hand count. Track size, color, or model separately; stock isn't crammed into a single total.
Stock that updates with orders
As orders come in, on-hand drops on its own. Because stock is tied to orders, you don't wait for a manual count or an end-of-day update.
Low and out-of-stock, visible
The dashboard flags low and out-of-stock items; you don't scan reports to notice what's gone, it's right there in the list.
Manual edits, written to the record
After a count, breakage, or return, adjust stock by hand; the change stays on the product record, so the number is a record, not a guess.
The states of a count, with their status
What each term means and whether it's truly tracked today, in one list.
On the automation side, low-stock and out-of-stock flags are what's live today. Threshold-based restock alerts and auto-hiding sold-out products on the storefront are on the roadmap; we'll mark them here plainly when they go live.
- On handLive
- What you can sell right now. Sits in the dashboard per product and variant, and drops as orders come in.
- Low stockLive
- When on-hand runs down, the dashboard flags the item; you see what's about to run out in the list.
- Out of stockLive
- When on-hand hits zero, the item is flagged out of stock; dashboard and storefront read the same fact.
- ReservedRoadmap
- A separate reserved state in the order flow is on the roadmap; today stock drops the moment an order is placed.
- IncomingRoadmap
- Units on their way from a supplier. It arrives with purchase orders on the roadmap; today you record received goods with a manual adjustment.
Stock should be a fact, not a guess.
When it's a single number tied to orders and the storefront, you stop guessing how much you have.
Inventory capabilities we're building
These aren't live yet; we'll mark them honestly when they ship.
Multi-location, multi-warehouse stock
Keeping stock separately across multiple stores or warehouses is on the roadmap; today the focus is single-location inventory.
Purchase orders and restocking
Creating purchase orders to suppliers and receiving incoming stock into inventory is planned.
Ally-assisted demand forecasting
Ally-assisted forecasting that reads past sales to predict what runs out and when is on the roadmap.
Automated reordering
Automatically raising a reorder when stock falls below a set threshold is planned.
Frequently asked questions
Is inventory really live?
Yes. On-hand stock per product and variant, low-stock visibility, and automatic decrement on orders work in the dashboard today. Multi-location warehousing, purchase orders, and demand forecasting are on the roadmap and labeled as such; we don't present something as available before it is.
Does stock drop automatically when an order comes in?
Yes. Because stock is tied to orders, on-hand drops automatically when an order is placed; you don't have to update it by hand as well.
Can I track stock per variant?
Yes. Each variant carries its own on-hand count, so you track options like size or color without collapsing them into one total.
Is storefront stock the same as dashboard stock?
It's the same. Storefront and dashboard read one stock record; the number a customer sees and the number you see come from the same source, with no reconciling of two separate spreadsheets.
Can I adjust stock manually?
Yes. After a count, breakage, or return you can adjust stock by hand, and the change is written to the product record, so you can follow the history from the record.
Where stock connects
Inventory runs on the same surface as the rest of the store.
