Return Policy

Last updated: 23.02.2026|Effective date: 23.02.2026

1. General

FaStart Teknoloji A.S. ('FaStart') is a SaaS e-commerce platform service that connects sellers and buyers. FaStart acts as an intermediary service provider within the scope of the Law on Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563. Sellers offer products for sale through their own stores; buyers purchase those products. Returns and refunds are handled directly between the seller and the buyer.

2. Platform Role

FaStart provides e-commerce technical infrastructure to sellers. Returns are the seller's responsibility. FaStart may help facilitate communication between the seller and the buyer but is not a party to the return transaction. All responsibility regarding the quality, suitability, and return of products offered for sale rests entirely with the seller.

3. Right of Return

Pursuant to the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the buyer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of delivery without stating any reason and without incurring any penalty. The withdrawal period starts on the day the goods are delivered to the buyer. The buyer is required to notify the seller of the withdrawal request.

4. Return Process

  1. Submit your return request to the seller within 14 days of the delivery date.
  2. Contact the seller directly to initiate the return process.
  3. Prepare the product unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
  4. Return shipping costs are borne by the seller unless otherwise agreed (per Law No. 6502).
  5. The refund is processed by the seller through the original payment method (seller's POS).

5. Return Conditions

  • The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
  • The invoice, warranty certificate, and any other documents delivered with the product must be returned.
  • Products whose packaging has been opened may not be accepted for return if unsuitable for health or hygiene reasons.
  • The buyer is responsible for returning the product in the same condition as when it was delivered.

6. Withdrawal Exceptions

  • Goods or services the price of which varies depending on fluctuations in financial markets
  • Goods produced according to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized needs
  • Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
  • Goods whose protective packaging (seal, tape, wrapping) has been opened after delivery and whose return is unsuitable for health or hygiene reasons
  • Goods that become mixed with other items after delivery and cannot be separated by nature
  • Books, digital content and computer consumables delivered on physical media where packaging has been opened after delivery
  • Periodicals such as newspapers and magazines provided under a subscription
  • Contracts for accommodation, transport, car rental, food and beverage supply, and leisure activities that must take place on a specific date or period
  • Services performed instantly in an electronic environment or intangible goods delivered to the consumer instantly
  • Services whose performance has begun with the consumer's consent before the withdrawal period expires
7. Commission Adjustment
  • When a sale is refunded, FaStart's commission for that sale is adjusted at the next billing cycle.
  • FaStart does not process the buyer's refund; the refund is handled by the seller through their own POS.
  • The commission adjustment is applied automatically once the refund is finalized.
  • FaStart is not a party to the return transaction; it only adjusts its own commission fee.

8. Dispute Resolution

For disputes relating to the return process, buyers may apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees for amounts up to the monetary thresholds determined annually by the Ministry, and to Consumer Courts for disputes above such thresholds.

9. Effective Date

This Return Policy took effect on 23/02/2026 and is valid for all users as of that date.
